Our business model is three-fold:
- We work with clients on specified projects to optimize our protocol to their desired use. This is generally crop-specific and is aimed at developing a reproducible, efficient and economic system.
- We transform and regenerate proprietary germplasm with specified genes. This work is often done in partnership with different parties providing the germplasm and the gene.
- We license our technology on a crop-by-crop basis. We are willing to issue exclusive and non-exclusive licenses.
Applications
Our technology can be applied to various biotechnology fields. We can add agricultural value to crops by improving their growth characteristics and survivability (resistance to cold, drought, pathogens, salinity, pests, herbicides, etc.) We can add industrial value to crops for use, for example, in ethanol or oils. We can transform and regenerate plants for the purpose of producing human-interest-proteins. And we can transform plants to improve their use in phyto-remediation of toxic land sites.
Speed is the hallmark of our technologies. We can reduce by half the time between regeneration events.
Our system also offers a contained, compact, safe growing protocol for programs seeking to extract products directly from seeds or flowers.
For the major companies in our field, we can enhance the technologies they employ, or we can serve as an outsource for discrete projects. For those not among the majors, we can be a partner in developing a fully effective transformation/regeneration system.

Patent Position
We exclusively license our core technologies from the University of Toledo. We have patents pending on the technologies.
Contracting Philosophy
Our contracting philosophy is based on setting mutually-agreed-to milestones. We look to be fully contributing partners in any venture, and to be depended on to deliver the milestones our clients desire in terms of rapid, robust transformation and regeneration.
